Free trial & Pay Per Lead — how it works
Is my listing free?
Yes. Listing your business is free and stays free — it is never locked or removed when a trial ends.
What happens when I claim my listing?
Claiming starts a 30-day free trial of the Standard Business Membership. No card is needed to start. We email you reminders on day 21 and day 29 of your trial. After the trial you can add payment to keep membership; if you don't, your free listing stays live.
What is Pay Per Lead?
An optional add-on for paying members at $20 per converted (won) lead. It can't be turned on during the free trial — it needs a paid, active membership.
What counts as a billable lead?
Only converted leads. A real (non-test) quote request becomes billable at the moment you change its status to Won — if Pay Per Lead is on and you're under your monthly cap at that moment. New, contacted, quoted or lost leads are never billable. If you move a lead out of Won before any charge, it's un-billed.
Is there a cap?
Yes — you set your own monthly cap on billable won leads (it starts at 20). Won leads beyond the cap that month aren't billed. All leads are still delivered to you.
What if a lead isn't genuine?
You can flag any billed lead from your dashboard with a reason. Our team reviews it manually and can credit it. There's no automatic refund.
When am I charged?
Not yet. Billing for Pay Per Lead is being set up — won leads are recorded as billable in your dashboard, but you won't be charged until billing launches, and we'll tell you before it does.
How is this different from membership and Pay Per Order?
Membership is a flat monthly fee for your profile and lead tools. Pay Per Lead is a per-lead add-on on top of membership. Pay Per Order (coming soon) is a small percentage of an order paid through the directory. Pay Per Lead can only be combined with membership.
